-February 1, 2003 - National Wrestling Superstars - Champion Mike "Kid" Kruel defeated Dave Webb and Matt Stryker via armbar submission. Webb and Stryker at first worked together and took to the air to disarm the ground fighter Kruel and it seemed to be working as both took turns punishing the dazed champion. Finally, Kruel changed his tactics from ground to reckless style and grounded former champion Webb, who brought in a custom spider painted steel chair into the ring, at the nine minute mark. The match continued with Stryker now changing his style to combat Kruel, which for a while seemed to work with Matt going toe-to-toe with the Champion. -Results From the NWS in Wall Twsp., NJ on 3/29/2003 - Dave Webb -v- Mike Kruel - Webb, coming straight off winning the SSCW Light Heavyweight championship the night before had the momentum going in from the start, but Kruel quickly turned things around and showed why he's the one the Big Two promotions want.
Kruel worked Webb's neck and arm and repeatedly worked his famous submission armbar. Webb would not quit, reaching the ropes and forcing the ref to break the hold each time.
Frustrated, Kruel lost focus for a split second which allowed Webb to hit the 'web spinner' and the F-5. Webb went for the quick pin and Kruel kicked out. Webb attempted the hurricanrana but Kruel caught Webb and flipped him into a full nelson. Webb tapped his own shoulder to end the match.
Kruel held onto the full nelson after the bell rang, until another wrestler, Harley Lewis, came in watching from ringside to try to help. He was met with the signature Kruel Intentions armbar submission hold. Lewis kept tapping but Kruel wouldn't release the hold.
Security finally came in and dragged Kruel off of Harley and held him back while additional security helped both Webb and Lewis out of the ring.

- Results From the NWS in Tower City, PA on 4/12/2003 - Former NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion Dave Webb take on Corrupted Youth for the #1 contender spot and a chance to meet current NWS Junior Heavyweight champion Mike "Kid" Kruel. Youth attacked Webb as he entered the ring and brutally attacked Webb, keeping him down on the mat and trying to keep him from utilizing his arial skills. But as you know, all it takes is one mistake and the tides can change and that is exactly what happened as Webb hit Corrupted Youth with everything he had, including the "619". Youth made a come-back of his own and once again had Webb on the mat looked as though he would take the victory and the #1 contendership away from Webb. Out of nowhere, Webb hit Corrupted Youth with a red spray that blinded his opponent, allowing Webb to make a come-back of his own for the 1-2-3. The winner and #1 contender for the NWS Junior Heavyweight title, Dave Webb.

-Results from the NWS at the Cook-Douglas Campus Recreation Center at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ on 5/03/2003 - NC-17 defeated Dave Webb & Hyena via pinfall.
The next match saw NC-17 (Chino and Angel Martinez) take on the team of Hyena and NWS former Junior Heavyweight champion Dave Webb. The enthusiastic crowd roared their disapproval of NC-17 but quickly turned their boos to cheers when Webb and Hyena made their way to the ring.
Hyena started the match with Angel and every time Angel tried to lock up, the faster Hyena ducked and laughed at him. When Angel finally got his hands on his taller yet lighter opponent, he gave him a beating, tagging quickly to his partner Chino and keeping Hyena away from his corner.
Once Hyena finally tagged Webb, the former champion took it to both members of NC-17. This didn't last long, as the more experienced team quickly regained the advantage. Webb tagged Hyena for the save, however, NC-17 made quick work of the lighter wrestler and pinned him in the center of the ring.

-Results from the NWS in Red Bank, NJ on 5/10/2003 - The third match up of the night saw a rematch for the NWS Junior Heavyweight title.  Champion Mike "Kid" Kruel wrestled former champion Dave Webb, however, before the match, Tommy Force and Tony Flow from teh Canadian Connection came out to discuss issues they had with Webb and Kruel.  Force blamed Kruel for his neck injury (that happened last week in Manville) and Flow has his own problems with Webb.  Once the referee cleared the ring, the two put on a tremendous demonstration of mat wrestling, exchanging hold for hold, with neither gaining enough of an advantage for the win.  As Kruel caught Webb in his full nelson submission, The Canadian Connection came out and attacked Webb and Kruel, causing the referee to call the match a "no contest".  Once order was restored, NWS officials offered Webb and Kruel an opportunity to team up and take Force and Flow.  They decided their hatred for what had just happened was more than their hatred for each other and agreed for a match next Saturday in Manasquan, NJ.

- Results from the NWS at the Manasquan Elks Lodge in Manasquan, NJ on 5/17/2003 - The Canadian Connection defeated Mike "Kid" Kruel & Dave Webb via pinfall.  A tag team masterpiece with just a touch of ugliness that became personal between all four men.  The match was even until Kruel was set to hit a flying clothesline off the top rope onto Tony Flow. Dave Webb was thrown into the ropes knocking Kruel off the top turnbuckle.  As Tony Flow delivered a bodyslam on Dave Webb, Tommy Force connected with a top rope leg drop to pin Mike "Kid" Kruel for the win.

Show 1 - Josh Daniels defeated Dave Webb via pinfall.
Dave Webb was welcomed back to Wildwood with a standing ovation as many of the fans remember his days with NWA Jersey in 2000 and 2001. However, Dave's homecoming was cut short when one half of the The French-Canadian Connection, Josh Daniels, scored a three count.
When it looked like Dave was ready to take him out with the Webb of Deception (head scissors into a ddt), Tommy Force, Josh's partner in the Connection came in and landed a cheap shot on Webb while the ref wasn't looking and Daniels got his arm raised in "victory".
NWS officials were quick to call a rematch for the 8:30 show with the stipulation that their would be no one in Daniels corner, which of course was protested to no avail.

Show 2 - Josh Daniels defeated Dave Webb via pinfall.
Dave Webb and Josh Daniels, in the rematch from show number one, had the crowd on there feet and applauding the efforts of these two gladiators as each mat technician brought out their best.

- 9/27/2003 - NWS in Manchester, NJ @ The Pop Warner Complex Field - The French-Canadian Connection against Dave "Spider" Webb and Big Shot Bryan Sexton was started. Josh Daniels and Tommy Force (The French-Canadian Connection) dominated the match, with Sexton taking most of the punishment. Fans started cheering "DW, DW" (for Dave Webb) to come into the ring, but the crafty team of Force and Daniels kept Sexton from making a tag. Finally Sexton hit a hot tag to Webb who started taking his frustration out on both of the French-Canadians.  Dave then taged Sexton back in to go take on Force outside.  Sexton and Daniels battled it out to Sexton getting covered by Daniels due to a vicious powerbomb.
